The new property assessment notices are set to go out on March 31st, 2008. Homeowners have 45 days to file an appeal. The Vanderburgh County assessor is expecting a much less appeals this year, compared to the 9600 appeals last year. In most cases home owners were shocked when they saw how much they had to pay in addition as property taxes were adjusted to market value. With tax relief from the legislature, County Assessor Jonathan Weaver expects a smoother, more streamlined process this time around. In case you still feel that your property taxes are too high, we advise our readers to call their realtor and ask them to prepare a Market Analysis which you can use in your appeal. With today’s ever changing world in the internet one has to be careful of scams charging for illegal downloads of music. Many users are careful to buy all downloaded music and abide by the law, but that does not always mean that these are safe. Where as in fact these sites do not have the licenses and the downloads are illegal.
