The Evansville Metropolitan Planning Organization is putting forward the Lincoln Avenue Safety Improvement Proposal. In an effort to reduce crashes and provide a better environment the City of Evansville is proposing to convert Lincoln Avenue from a four-lane to a three-lane cross section (two wider outside lanes and two-way center left-turn lane) in the corridor between US 41 and Green River Road.
