Here we have a well written article on expenses associated with the purchase of a home. In order to protect yourself from any last minute surprises, we advise that you ask your realtor or mortgage provider for a Good Faith Estimate. This document will show you line by line the amounts that have been charged. It is also important to have this estimate in case you are asking the seller to cover or participate in the closing costs.
As with any real estate transaction, we encourage you to seek the advice of professionals as they can better advocate on your behalf and make sure that runs smooth until the closing. Please feel free to call me at 812-499-9234 should you have any questions regarding buying or selling a home.
This is directed to all mothers: Happy Mother’s Day! We hope you have a wonderful day.
